Stephanie has lost her husband and child in a car accident. She moved to Arizona leaving her job to start a new life. Things, unfortunately, do not pan out for this lady. On top of everything, Stephanie is also experiencing flashbacks from the past. A hallucination of some sort taking her to a place that she feels she has been before. It is a vision of a girl being trapped in a chicken coop. She seeks help from the police but they do not believe her no matter how much she tries. She has no way but to save herself from the inevitable. However, as soon as she is almost getting somewhere the stalker captures her. Once captured all the puzzle pieces come together creating this fabulous emotional thriller.

Sleep then my Princess is an emotional and heart-wrenching story. It takes you inside a psychopath’s mind and then moves you to an innocent and troubled young lady. As if Stephanie has not suffered enough she now has to deal with another horrified endeavor. You experience backstory on the villain and the girl, which was nice, instead of just focusing on the girl. I felt the author focused on both aspects of the characters.

The pace of the story built up while discovering who the kidnapper was, creatively plotted. Right up to the end you really cannot determine who it is. Many twist and turn happen which increase the suspense. The book is easy to understand and to follow. If you are a suspense thriller reader, you will thoroughly enjoy this tale. There are grammatical, structural and other typos in the book but all together it was a good read.

I recommend this book to anyone that likes an action thriller with psychological references.

I could not put this book down until I finished the story. There were so many twists and turns, the author kept me guessing about who the actual kidnapper was throughout.
Tautly constructed, raw and visceral, this story is an emotional pulse-pounding thriller that you won't want to miss. In some ways it'll remind you of Stephen King's MISERY, though by no means in a derivative way. You feel the main character's horror so much that if you're prone to paranoia or overly sensitive you may want to avoid this one! Oh, and that ending... I don't want to give any spoilers, but you'll definitely be glad you read until the conclusion.
Very suspenseful. Didn't want to put the book down. It was easy to follow as there weren't too many characters. Will certainly watch for other books by this author.
With the recent loss of her husband and plagues of terrible nightmares, Stephani Robbins has enough stress in her life. But then she acquires a creepy secret admirer. He's sending her strange photos and gifts. To make matters worse, the police don't believe her. In fact, they think she set the whole thing up and hired the guy to take the photos of her.
But then the nightmare becomes a reality when she's captured by a seriously twisted individual. I don't want to give away anymore spoilers, but this is a gut wrenching tale that thriller lovers don't want to miss.
The story is raw and gritty, with several plot twists, and the terror is conveyed so well I was too creeped out to sleep with the lights off. A page-turner, this book is fast paced and easy to read. I loved every minute of it.
The author did a fabulous job of portraying Stephani's horror. This is definitely an author to watch out for! Nice work! This is an easy five stars.
It kept me reaching for more of the story and the characters. It was amazing the way the story was developing and the background of the characters. A very exciting story developed right away.
Stephani attracts a lot of attention from several men wanting a relationship with her. There are two problems with that she is still grieving the death of her husband... and two of those men are stalkers. One stalker is just creepy while the other one is deranged and dangerous and will stop at nothing to make his "Princess" his own.

The beginning starts out a little slow while building the intensity of the stalking, but a quarter of the way through the story picks up and I didn't want to put it down. It has plenty of "Aha" and "I wasn't expecting that" moments. It's a well-thought out plot that the author weaves together quite well.
What do you do when you lose your husband, your son is in a coma, and the company you work for burns to the ground ? If you're Stephani Robbins you move to Arizona with the hope of starting a new life. Great idea in theory but instead Stephani picks up a stalker and starts having visions of a child trapped in a chicken coop. She's not sure if she's losing her mind especially after she goes to the police and they think she's making it all up. When she tries to get more evidence on the stalker she gets kidnapped. Now she has to figure out a way to get free and survive this crazy and deadly situation.
This mind blowing psychological thriller kept me turning the pages way past my bed time to see what would happen next. I just couldn't put it down, I read it in one sitting it's that good. I love that even though Stephani has been seriously hurt emotionally she still has some sass and spunk left in her. The writing is so descriptive I felt every emotion Stephani felt, all her pain, fear, frustration and anger. This is definitely a book worth reading if you're into mystery, suspense and psychological thrillers. This one is right up there with the best of them. I will most definitely be recommending this to all my friends who enjoy this genre. Don't hesitate to grab this book you won't be disappointed, I know I wasn't.
